Public Announcement: The NY Carbon City PTA Act (A8887 / S8252 )

The New York Carbon City Property Tax Abatement Act, introduced in Albany by Assemblymember Robert Carroll and State Senator Robert Jackson, proposes an incentive for building owners to adopt a range of qualified carbontech solutions within the five boroughs. The proposal is modeled after similar successful PTA programs already in place for solar, battery storage and green roofs.
For this online introduction to the the legislation Assemblymember Carroll and State Senator Jackson will be joined by a panel of local advocates and carbontech entrepreneurs.
