On Sat, we got together for our first ever “DACC HACC” at NYU ITP, aka “The Center for the Recently Possible.” We started working toward sourcing components for our first open hardware DACC, codename “Violet.”
This week, we started with testing integration of the Sensirion SCD30 CO₂ Humidity and Temperature Sensor, purchased from Sparkfun, and the Sparkfund Redboard. We successfully measured CO₂ PPM (Parts Per Million) in the atmosphere, even creating a spike when we blasted the SCD30 with a SodaStream! More DACC HACCs to come in the near future!
